For everyone who's been waiting for a new video from Folgazán, you can now feast your eyes on the clip "Drink when you're dry". Write your opinions and comments in our guestbook.

Folgazán is a Belgian folk-pop band that widely crosses the borders of traditional folk music. Next to violin, flutes, accordion and piano you will find acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar and drums, easily mixing elements of contemporary pop with typical folk or jazzy influences. Folgazán always plays varying concerts containing catching dancing tunes, rock songs with a folk sound, delicate melodies with a jazzy folk-touch and cheerful party songs. Mostly sung by female voice in English (or Dutch), sometimes purely instrumental.

In 2007 Folgazán ended up second in the finals of the Dranouter Folk Contest. Folgazán also played their first concert abroad: the audience of the Misty Fields Festival in Holland was happily surprised to discover this energetic band from Belgium.

In 2008 the band reinforces their growing live reputation with a successful gig at Labadoux, the second largest folk festival in Belgium.

2009 confirmed the band's popularity with the launch of a music clip, several Summer festival gigs and a trip to the U.K. including a gig in London in the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

2010 sparkles of creativity. A brand new video clip 'Drink when you're dry' will be released and Folgazán has several new songs in the pipeline. On stage, the band performs with plenty of heart and soul, and that comes through vividly during the dynamic live set.
